Our example, chassis 96266, was delivered new to Switzerland through Garage Foitek AG in Urdorf, in February 1993. The TR was finished in Nero (Nero Fer 1240) over a Crema (Crema 3997 Autolux) leather interior, a desirable specification which it retains to this day. A Ferrari Classiche Certificate was awarded in Decembre 2014, affirming that the car retains its original colors, as well as its original matching numbers engine and transmission, and its original unrepaired body, . It is believed that the first owner kept the car at least until 2001, before it was sold to its second owner in Switzerland. In 2014, the car was sold to Germany, where it had one owner, who didn’t register it for the road and kept it in his collection of Ferrari’s. The service book shows serivce works carried out by Garage Foitek AF in Urdorf in April 1998 at 20,201 km, by Sport-Garage Urdorf in March 2001 at 27.157 km, and by Ferrari Gohm Singen in August 2011, which included a timing belt replacement. An engine oil and brake fluid service was also carried out by famous restorer Tom Fischer in Brannenburg in 2017, as shown by invoices. Our Engineering department carried out a full service including belts in July 2022. Today, the odometer shows just over 44,000 km from new.
