HISTORY

The Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale is the road legal version of the 360 Challenge racing car and was only manufactured in 2003 and 2004 before the F430 came onto the market in 2005. As the first lightweight V8, it was the origin of the other models F430 Scuderia, 458 Speciale and 488 Pista. However, none of the following models reflects the idea of adapting a racing car for the road as uncompromisingly as the 360 CS. Compared to the production vehicle 360 Modena, the 360 CS is a completely different vehicle. For the first time it received a carbon ceramic brake system, an exhaust system partly made of titanium, a different chassis, a modified front spoiler, a new tailgate with a small spoiler, new side skirts and lots of carbon parts to save weight. The engine was made with higher quality materials and cleaner sanded channels. The result was an additional 25HP with a weight saving of 110kg. Less than 1,200 vehicles were produced. All later V8 lightweight models rolled off the assembly line in Maranello in significantly higher numbers. Even a Ferrari F40 was built more than 1,300 times. The sound experience of a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale is a true orchestra. Hardly any other road vehicle inspires with such an unmistakable sound, which ranges from a deep V8 booming at low engine speeds to screeching screams at high engine speeds. The 360 CS is not a modern softie with a handful of apparent racing attributes to boost the sales figures of listed companies, but it is the epitome of the Ferrari myth and in its purism, emotionality and honesty a vehicle that is no longer feasible in this form today. From our point of view, it will have an important place in Ferrari history once the maturity level reaches its optimum in the coming years. The ever increasing perfection of modern cars with their partly synthetic driving feel will guarantee this incredibly analog special series a growing fan base. We are convinced that today’s investment will definitely pay off.

Our car with the chassis number # 132668 was delivered on October 20th, 2004 in Italy. To date, the car has only been moved 16,100 km and is in a correspondingly immaculate condition. The rims are undamaged, the paintwork is perfect and in the original paint, except for the bumpers. The last major service, including renewal of the timing belt, was carried out at the Ferrari dealer in April 2019. This Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale is accident-free, complete with all books and keys and in its classic color combination not only a good investment but a vehicle for special moments that will cast its spell over you like no other vehicle with its unique character.
