For Fabian, the passion for everything technical and mechanical began at the age of just five, as he was introduced to motocross. Taking part in competitions with his bike meant he had to work on it, a lot, and during 15 years of heavy involvement in motorsport, his interest in bikes and cars grew, and thanks to his understanding of cars and engines, and his talented hands, he decided to make a living out of it. Just after school, he decided to pursue his dream and become a mechanic. He went on to earn his apprenticeship in automotive mechatronics and began his professional career at Kugler Motorsport where he specialised in setting up the cars, optimizing their performance and dyno testing. He then integrated one of the well-known names in the Porsche scene, Porsche Roitmayer in Oberhaching near Munich. His passion for the Stuttgart firm as well as his commitment to learn and expend his knowledge under Mr. Roitmayer senior helped him build a large knowledge of classic machines. With his wide experience, he is now a key team member of our Engineering department, his knowledge of Porsche’s and especially the classic ones leaves no wish unfulfilled. His desire to keep history alive through classic cars gives him the motivation to go a step further to keep these pieces of automotive art on the road.
Fabian’s time outside the workshop is spent at the workshop, unsurprisingly. He enjoys preparing his Bavarian track tool for the next outing on the Nürburgring or Salzburgring.
Sylvia came to Schaltkulisse in 2014 as an assistant in the back office. She manages to relieve management of a lot of work and works her way around all the office headaches, things like *cough cough*, the complicated German paperwork. She is always willing to lend a hand, even when she is building her new terrace at home, is happy to take our calls and messages and responds quickly to urgent matters.
Amin can still well remember going for a walk with his parents and calling all the cars parked on the street by name from afar. For as long as he can remember, he has been passionate about cars. His whole life has been an embodiment of this love story, and the scale models of a Jaguar XJ220 and a Bugatti EB110 that he received from his parents as a child only fueled his curiosity about supercars.
