HISTORY
Unveiled in 2010 to celebrate 25 years of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the Porsche 911 Speedster stands as one of the most distinctive and collectible variants of the 997-generation 911. Produced in a strictly limited series of just 356 units worldwide, the model pays homage to the original 1950s Porsche 356 Speedster—combining timeless design cues with modern engineering and exceptional craftsmanship.
The 997 Speedster was based on the Carrera GTS, but refined and enhanced by Porsche Exclusive. Beneath its shortened and steeply raked windscreen lies the 3.8-litre flat-six engine, producing 408 horsepower—a 23 hp increase over the standard GTS. Power is delivered through a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, and reach a top speed of 305 km/h.
Aesthetically, the Speedster features several unique elements that distinguish it from any other 911: the double-hump rear decklid, lowered windscreen, and a bespoke two-seat cockpit. Each car was hand-assembled by Porsche Exclusive in Zuffenhausen, with extensive customization possibilities—many featuring exclusive colors, interior trims, and materials unavailable on standard production 911s.
Only two official exterior colors were offered at launch—Pure Blue (exclusive to the model) and Carrera White—though some customers commissioned unique Paint-to-Sample finishes, adding to the car’s individuality and collectability.
our 997 Speedster
Our Porsche 997 Speedster is special as it is not only one of the 356 Speedsters produced, but believed to be one of 12 finished in this Paint To Sample (PTS) shade of Black. Inside the first owner specified the Speedster in Black with white accents, with every single part wrapped in leather, including the door handles, and the air vents. The Speedster was delivered new in 2011 through Porsche Zentrum Soest and has remained always in Germany.
Now showing a mere 1.900km from new, this is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the rarest modern 911's ever made in an even rarer shade. The last service has been carried out in December 2024 at 1.277km at Porsche Zentrum Bremen.
The Speedster is accompanied by its key double, service book and manuals, and COC. Available for viewing at our Munich showroom on appointment.
