Ferrari

The Ferrari 458 Italia GT presented here is chassis F142GT2832, and was raced by the French team Luxury Racing at some of the most prestigious races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 1000 KM of Spa. It was mainly used during the 2011 and 2012 seasons, where it raced quite successfully, most notably with a 2nd in class finish at the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans. It also came 2nd in class at the LMS Silverstone in 2011, with S. Ortelli and F. Makowiecki at the wheel, 3rd in class at Zhuhai in 2011, and 3rd in class at the FIA World Endurance Championship 12 Hours of Sebring. After the 2012 season, the car hasn’t been raced and was used very sparingly by the current owner, who didn’t take part at official races and therefore hasn’t managed to push the car too hard. In 2020, over 120.000 EUR have been invested in the car, with the works being carried out by ByKolles Racing in Germany. The works included normal service work and the control of the condition of suspension elements, overhauling of the brakes, and measurement of the clutch. The front and back of the car were restored, and almost every component has been dismantled and checked to avoid any failure during track use. The current engine is provided by Michelotto and has been used for around 1,000 km. The car has no known damage history. The example offered here is not only a collection piece thanks to its significant race results, but also an efficient track and race tool for the experienced gentleman driver. A lot of money has went into preparing this car for the next owner and there is no doubt that it will be an absolutely rewarding beast to tame on the track.
