Every few years, Ferrari surprise the world with a state-of-the-art, limited-production run supercar which not only breaks records, but also reinforces the manufacturer’s identity and desirability. Their last masterpiece, a celebration of Ferrari’s know-how, was called the LaFerrari. Introduced in 2013 at the Geneva Auto Show as the “definitive” Ferrari, the LaFerrari displayed all the know-how of the engineers and designers at Maranello. Internally called the F150, it was developed based on findings from testing the FXX development prototype. It is Ferrari’s first in-house modern design as well as its first hybrid road-going car: its naturally aspirated V12, coupled to a HY-KERS system, develop the mind-blowing power of 963 PS and a combined torque of 900 Nm.The powerplant doesn’t only convince by its performance or its high-revving nature, but also and especially by the furry it makes.
It is without a doubt one of the best sounding modern cars and a true achievement in terms of emotions and sensations. Only 500 LaFerrari coupes were built, an extremely low production number in today’s world of “mass”produced super-and hypercars. It is,without a doubt, an absolute masterpiece from Maranello and an extremely desirable addition to any Ferrari collection. After all, a Ferrari big five lineup is a must in any serious collection.
Our car is a German-delivery car that was supplied new to Maranello Motors in Cologne in March 2014. It was specified by its first German caretaker in Rosso Corsa over a Nero roof, a full black Alcantara interior with red stitching, and with otherwise every single possible carbon fibre option. The black five-spoke wheels together with the red brake calipers make for a coherant and simply striking specification. The first owner registered the LaFerrari in Germany and accumulated around 4,500 km on the clock before deciding to sell it to the next German owner in September 2022. At the time of acquiring the car, the current owner decided to book the all-important Ferrari Hybrid Battery Warranty, which covers any problem with the battery for the next two years. Under the ownership of its second owner, the LaFerrari drove further 250 km, making the current total mileage just below 4,750 km.
